February 13, Sacramento, California: The BCC’s Cannabis Advisory Committee hosted a series of Cannabis Subcommittee meetings with the aim of discussing ongoing issues and receiving public comment on current cannabis regulations. The Subcommittee’s purpose is to make formal recommendations to the Cannabis Advisory Committee which is scheduled for March 15th in Los Angeles. The subcommittees were comprised of industry stakeholders and experts.

The GAIACA team was present at each of the subcommittee meetings listening to subcommittee dialogue, public comment and getting a general feel for where the future of cannabis regulation may be heading.

Nine of ten Subcommittees opted to have a second set of Subcommittee meetings in Sacramento on March 1st to solidify their policy recommendations.
